Sweet Myrtle Designer Pairing LouLou Interiors

Sweet Myrtle, a LouLou Interiors’ Designer Pairing

A Nod to the Old and New

Sweet Myrtle, a Designer Pairing handpicked by LouLou Interiors, is a nod to the old and new. This pairing, perfect for a kitchen, was inspired by Myrtle Beach homes in need of both rescue and restoration.

Laying the foundation for her pairing, Lauren chose wide-plank oak flooring in Natural from Wexford. For the kitchen cabinetry, Duraform Cascade, a textured door style from Waypoint was chosen. Duraform Cascade, rich in its espresso color, contrasts well with the patina hardware selection. The contrast also serves as an artful demonstration of how to combine both antique and modern elements in a space. Adding softness to the selections, a white matte penny tile was chosen for the backsplash. Yet, the statement piece and focal point for the Sweet Myrtle pairing is Lauren’s countertop selection from Vetrostone. Vetrostone’s Palmetto Dunes with its honey beige hues and oyster shells was designed to pay homage to the coastline of South Carolina and is an absolute “wow” in this pairing.
