Retirement at the Beach

Our Caswell Beach clients came to us with a priority project that when complete would coincide with the start of retirement on the coast after military and education careers came to a close.  Renovating their newly-purchased home’s kitchen was a must prior to occupancy and something they were both excited about!

Cabinet and Countertop Selections

Desiring to keep the same layout, the homeowners’ selections focused primarily on improved function and style. The couple selected Kraftmaid in Dove White for the perimeter of the kitchen and Weathered Picket Fence for the kitchen’s island. The cabinetry was paired with a one-of-kind quartzite countertop in Sapphire. To add the jewelry to the kitchen, the homeowners selected matte black Berenson hardware from the Epoch Edge Collection for its sleek and contemporary feel. 

Brunswick Tile and Flooring’s Participation

Plus, our sister company, Brunswick Tile and Flooring participated in the renovation, installing new LVP flooring in the home. The flooring selection Baniff was from Happy Feet International from the Rescue line. This LVP is a high-variation multi-plank with barnboards and blue hues. Its naturally textured and weathered look couldn’t look more perfect in our client’s beach home.

The finished result was a bright space, with a highly-functional kitchen and ample cabinetry. Ample probably doesn’t do the storage space justice. It’s incredible! Owner / Designer Chris Gibson said this was a fun one given the fact that the homeowners were such a pleasure to work with and their selections turned out beautiful. They came seeking a brighter and whiter kitchen and we’d say “Mission Accomplished”. The homeowners’ timeless selections will keep the space fresh and current for years to come. Fort Caswell Facility Updates

Servicing  Brunswick County has its perks. It often means installing new cabinets and countertops in our area’s most beautiful places.  One of those places is Caswell Beach where we recently completed a facility update.

Facility Updates in Caswell

Fort Caswell, a Coastal Retreat and Conference Center, wanted to update their facility countertops so they came to see us. Designer Amy helped the Facilities Director select the durable granite countertop Santa Cecilia Light.

The finished result was a countertop that complements the existing space’s interior and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
