August 2021 Designer Pairing Pick by Chris

Designer Pairing Pick: Depth of the Sea

Designer Cindy has a surprising pick in this pairing.

Cindy selected a shaker-style cabinet Frost from the Quest Collection in the door style Discovery from Fabuwood Cabinetry. Frost is a crisp white cabinet that has been paired with a statement countertop from Silestone to add dramatic contrast to the space. The quartz countertop is Cala Blue and it is described by Silestone as “deep, modern blue that simulates the balance between the depth and the surface of the sea when interacting with light”. This is a surprising selection for Cindy but we think she hit it out of the park with the backsplash tile selection from Glazzio and kept the flooring selection smart with a durable LVP from Armstrong’s Rigid Core Essentials collection.

Greens: Fresh and Natural

Greens are the color of renewal, offering a calming influence and a connection to nature:

  • Cabinet: Soft sage or deep forest green cabinetry for a refreshing and lively space.
  • Countertop: Neutral quartz or marble surfaces that complement the green hues without overwhelming the design.
  • Tile & Flooring: Subway tiles in mint or mossy green, with natural wood or stone-look flooring for a grounded and organic touch.

Designer Cindy has chosen an on-trend green-gray pairing for her pairing.
