SUPPLY, June 29, 2020 – Brunswick Cabinets and Countertops is launching Brunswick Community and Connections’ third online event, the Dog Days of Summer Photo Contest.

Does Fido have what it takes to be Brunswick’s Top Dog? 

We are throwing it to the dogs for our 3rd online event and launching a Dog Days of Summer Photo Contest!

Let’s celebrate our furry friends this summer. Join the pack and help us raise awareness for the animals of Brunswick County. 

With some of the most dog-friendly beaches in the nation, we are sure there are some beach-loving dogs in our community. Or maybe some less active pups napping on the porch. Snap a pic while your Fido is having a pawsome time to show us how you and your pup are celebrating summer. 

The Puurfect Time to Help

And yes, there’s a charitable spin to our latest event. As you might know, summers for pet shelters are the hardest. There are typically more animals, more bills, and more worries. This year, it’s especially hard. Most have also had to cancel their annual in-person fundraising events due to COVID-19 and that has put an additional strain on their already tough season.

So, Brunswick Community and Connections decided now is the puurfect time to bring awareness to our local animal organizations and launch our 3rd event to help them out.

Help us bring awareness to the local rescue and adoption organizations in the area that could benefit from a donation by participating in our photo contest. 

With lots of pup luck, your Fido could win Brunswick’s Top Dog Award and you can help one organization win our Dog Days of Summer Donation. But that’s not all, you will also be registered to win a fabulous Dog Days of Summer swag bag full of local goodies for summer fun for you…and Fido.

Contest Prizes

One lucky winner will be awarded Brunswick’s Top Dog Award and the ultimate Dog Days of Summer Swag Bag full of local goodies for you…and Fido. 

Local Pet Organization Donation

One local pet organization will receive a $1000 donation. The donation will be awarded to the local pet organization that is nominated most during the contest by participants. 

Contest Timeframe / Announcements

The Dog Days of Summer Photo Contest starts immediately and will end on Monday, July 20th.

You can follow this online event on the Brunswick Cabinets and Countertops Facebook page. 

Brunswick’s Top Dog will be announced online and the winner will be contacted directly to confirm their swag bag should be mailed on Wednesday, July 22nd.

The local pet organization nominated by contest participants to receive the $1000 donation will be announced Friday, July 24th.

UPDATE: Winner Announcement

The Dog Days of Summer Photo Contest awarded Brooks as “Brunswick’s Top Dog”. Brooks won us over with the look of a “Top Dog” in his photo and we loved how proud he was of his Brunswick County roots captioning his submitted photo with “My own slice of paw-radise”. 

The local pet organization nominated by contest participants to receive the $1000 donation was Brunswick County Animal Services. We are so grateful for their tireless work to protect the animals across our county.
